Welcome to St Peter's, Heversham

Accessibility

Audio-visual facilities

People leading the service use a microphone system so that you can hear the service well, even if you are sitting at the back of church.

If you wear a hearing aid with a T-switch, you can use our loop system.

At some services, we use the two large screens at the front of the church, to show the hymns and order of service. You are welcome to use hymn books and service booklets if you prefer.

We have a few large-print hymn books. If you need one, please ask the sidespeople on duty as you come into church.

If you have mobility problems

We have good access for disabled people.

If you use a wheelchair, or find it difficult to use steps, we have a ramp that we can put at the main door.

There are no steps from there into the main part of the church and the coffee area.

If you have a baby or small child

We welcome families. We have an area in the North Aisle where, if you choose, your pre-school children can play with our toys, and look at our books, whilst you take  part in the service.
